Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

"You don't expect a predator to break in and take your daughter out the bed. It could have happened under other circumstances and there would still be the regret. It wasn't like a decision we made. It was a matter of 'let's get the kids to sleep, then we'll have dinner.' It wasn't a 'shall I, shan't I?' thing. I feel desperately sorry to her that we weren't there.

This has touched so many people. I've had so many letters from mothers, really kind words. People have said 'Kate, we've done this a hundred times over ourselves. Why would you for one minute think something like that would happen?' It's not like we went down town or anything."

  1. August the 5th, four days after the dogs checked on their house and found Kate's jeans, the toy and Maddie's red T-shirt.
    Excusing themselves, like always.
"Why would you for one minute think something like that would happen?"But mothers, don't worry, something like that did not happen!
Why did mothers write Kate so many letters, really kind words?Didn't Madaleine have a father too?It sounds that Kate feels 100% responsible for what happened!Whatever happened, Gerry is also responsible.

  2. Joana, maybe you can still find the whole video of the McCanns with the Pope.At the very beginning, Gerry pulls Kate's left arm, pulling her towards the Pope and makes her talk to him. I noticed it and at that moment I thought it had to do with the fact that people are used to think mothers suffer a great more than fathers. But could it be that Gerry expected an absolution for Kate, coming from the highest person of the Church? She was the most important person at that moment although Gerry was the one who controlled and did the talk all the time. There was an exception at the Vatican. Why?
Joana, can you imagine if, after all the trouble, Masses, Fatima, the Pope, key of the church, we all die and we find out that God is a Muslim and Muhammed was right?
Do you think Clarence Mitchell will have the power to cheat Allah, explaining it was not their fault but Amaral's and the PJ's?

  3. I agree that it looks like that Kate takes all responsibility to herself. As a mother or as the one who eventualy caused the accident?

  4. YOU DONT EXPECT PARENTS PARTICULARLY DOCTORS TO ABANDON INFANTS IN STRANGE ROOMS WHILE THEY GO ON THE PISS EITHER. ITS THE UNEXPECTED THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GUARD AGAINST...NARCISSITIC SOCIOPATHS= THE MCCANNS.

  5. Any news about Amaral's book in the UK?
Why not to publish it in Ireland and to export it to the UK?
