The Road Not Taken

The Road Not Taken

by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

  1. In the Maddie case, choices were also made. Imagine they had taken the other road... everything would have been so different. Thank you for this poem Astro, it is an excelent choice for reflection.

Seremos persistentes e a Justiça será feita.

  4. Very nice poem. The chosen road makes a big difference in what one may find along the way.
And sometimes walking on a less easy way yields a much better results.

  6. The path the McCann's and their so called friends took, will not ease with the passage of time. Their road will get rougher with every step they take. I think the Macs should remember the words of Chris Rea, so apt for the route they chose:

'This ain't no upwardly mobile freeway'

    Oh no
    this is the road
    this is the road
this is the road to hell'

  7. I do not understand the logic of poster 3. The McCanns have nothing to fear. They have been protected and will continue to be protected by people in high places in both England and Portugal. Sadly, it is Mr Amaral who has a lot to fear-namely financial ruin. The McCanns would not be taking legal action against him if they were not ultra-confident of winning. I hope I'm wrong, but the McCanns seem as invincible as ever to me

  8. the PJ must wish they'd made some different choices too... the judge should have charged the McCann's before they left PdL or arguidoed the friends...

as for the McCann's... if they'd come clean, they would probably be out of prison after "abandonment" charges, they would have returned to relative obscurity where they would have been able to mourn the death of their loved one...
as it is, they are in limbo and will never be able to stop looking over their shoulders... or give Madeleine the proper burial she should have had in May 2007

  9. The trouble is none of the TP9 can confess he/she lied or changed facts a bit without compromising the rest of them. They're on a no return road. This made up solidarity ties them up artificially but surely, because they're not convinced (they refuse to be convinced) confessing would have change anything in the investigation. Part of their aggressiveness comes from this.

  10. The Road Not Taken, but the Mac's had a choice
But they chose not to listen to the little voice
You know, the one in every parents mind
That you protect your kids from neglect of any kind

But the Mac's had more important things to do at night
And couldn't care less if their children took fright
It wasn't a holiday that they were one
So what was really going on?

There were so many Doctors that week in Praia da Luiz
Surely they all hadn't gone there just for the booze?

  11. Lovely poem. Thank you. It gives pause for reflection. Anon 7 In the US there is a case where the new plce chief is questioning the out come of a case 20 years ago and whether there was a cover up.
There are calls for a new investigation so who knows what might happen down the line.

  12. A nice poem.

We always have choices, though some simply can't be taken by 'ordinary' people.

If I were to find a child of mine dead in the 'McCann' circumstances, I cannot imagine taking any other road than that of honesty, even though this might cost me my career or even my freedom.

The idea that someone would leave the path of honesty to protect themselves when their child has been abducted, so compromising the investigation and reducing the chances of finding her in those precious first hours, is totally alien to me.

Yet that is at least what has happened here. We know the McCanns did not check Madeleine or the twins (the most they may have done is 'listened' outside the door). Kate inadvertantly confessed it in their TV 'documentary'. From Kates inadvertant confession we also know that Gerry must have been lying when he told the 'proud father' story. So we can presume that the checking was neither adequate nor sufficient and they lied to make it seem as if it was.

To lie at a time when any delay might result in her never being found was unacceptable, totally so.

I beleive this is the root of the reason for the single minded focus on the intangible 'search' referred to by the McCann's. Effectively they are telling us 'dont waste time investigating that which we know is not relevant'.

It seems to me that Madeleine might indeed have been abducted, but that this could have occurred at any time.

Having said that, I dont really believe an abduction by stranger has occurred.

I keep coming back to the dogs.

  14. RIPM post 10.

I too have wondered as have many about the basis for this 'holiday'.

It is common practice for salesmen to use incentives, perhaps the trip was such an incentive by a drugs company?

No doubt the police know if there is anything in this idea. Perhaps the whole basis for the protection of the MCCanns is simply that a drugs company doesnt want to be associated with a child going missing?

I doubt that any significant name company would allow the use of children as guinea pigs, so overdosing or unexpected drug effects being at the root of this seems to me unlikely (belongs in the land of the conspiracy theorist).

But John McCann did leave his job and I understand he worked for such a company. Companies are amoral, we know that - even though they might have legal personality, they are not actually personalities!

Yes. The difficult road (the reconstruction one) would have probably cleared the little lies and proved the world they were guilty of protecting themselves first thing and doing so of obstructing the investigation, but not of concealing a corpse. This would have turned them into just ordinary selfish but devastated persons, no sacred victims celebrities any more. Some popular understanding could have emerged and some help too.

I have wondered the same thing, re the brother leaving his (I presume) safe job within this extremely wealthy industry.
I think that the fact that no medical files were released to the PJ is quite significant especially in relation to any prescription medication that the parents may have been taking for themselves or administering to the children - Some accidents involve children who get hold of their parents' prescription tablets and gulp them up thinking they're sweets.

The following story makes scary reading - (Seroquel is Astra-Zeneca's antidepressant)- some strange parallels, although in the American case the mother and the doctor are two separate people...

  24. The road less travelled.
I believe whatever road you take you always reach your intended destination eventually.

As for the McCanns not checking I believe their checks are all a cover story-there was no need to check Madeleine was already dead- as Mr McCann tells her he was the last one to see her Im sure hes desperate to go the longest route he can but eventually the PJ will get him.

So Dr McCann what do I know about you? I know whatever you show us is what you want us to believe. Thats what the blogs were werent they to convince us you dont have a guilty concience and nothing to fear. What else?

You project or try to the image of a fit man respected in sports and your profession, a doting father and a likely candidate for public office. To borrow a phrase Im not buying one word of it.

I know youre desperate to fool yet even we have already seen through you- given the nature of the qualities youre seeking to show I think youve more chance of convincing us youre a woman.

As for you Kate ditto except for you the facade of the doting mother full of quiet faith and strength. You are even less believable than your husband. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence who cares for madeleine would not be fooled you cannot project something neither of you has the capacity to be Madeleine's caring parents. Why didnt you let her go Kate let- her go to her relatives who loved her? Why did her little life have to end so soon please tell us because Madeleine deserves that at least from you.

Whatever road you are following or think you are I advise you to think of your inevitable destination to think of the consequences of your continued farcical self promotion. In the end I think you will deeply regret trying to hide the truth- embrace your journey Kate make that road easier for yourselves make a real confession Im sure thats the only way for you to effect the outcome of your lives now.

TIVEMOS A PROVA.
NAO AS HA!!!

Mccann's have allot to fear.....

  33. The suddenly silence of the Mccann's speaks louder. Looks like the road they take, disturbing the New Zealand police and a caring parent, cause allot of turbulence on the air. THEY ARE NOT UNTOUCHABLE AND THEY MUST REALISE THAT THEY ARE NOTHING ELSE THEN AN ORDINARY PAIR OF DOCTORS WHICH NEGLECT THEIR CHILDS.

THEY ARE THE WINNERS ON THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF 'TAKING THE WRONG ROAD':
When they take their Kids for a week holiday and drop them in a creche, they choose the wrong road.
When they decide to leave their child's night after night, alone in the flat, they choose the wrong road.
When they decide to lie to the police, they choose the wrong road.
When they set a Fund based on an abduction without evidences, they choose the wrong road.
When they hire so many and so expensive lawyers to pass the idea of innocence, they choose the wrong road.
When they decide to persecute a police and silence facts, they choose the wrong road.
When they decide to act above the law and bring to newspaper front pages the faces of innocents, showing them as if they are the most evil people, they choose the wrong road.

ALWAYS IN THE WRONG ROAD.... TRYING TO BE CLEVERS WITH A POOR INTELLIGENCE.

And like Judy they met many hapless individuals on the way, the tin man Clarence Mitchell for example, Edgar a dead ringer for the Man of Straw! The brave Lion is Amaral of course! Jane the wicked witch on her broomstick! It is to be hoped that they will all end up in the monster's castle, but without the happy ending that Judy and her companions had!

  37. Just what exactly are the police waiting for. Surely there's enough incriminating evidence to charge the McCanns with Madeleines disappearance.

Meanwhile, the McCanns are allowed to continue conning people to donate to their fraudulant fund and Mr Amaral stands to loose a very large amount of money.

  43. 39 Westminster Magistrates Court, I believe, unless there's be a change for some reason. Will Alan Johnson bite the bullet and agree to extradition? He did in the case of Garry McKinnon.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I don't think that the truth of this will be known for ten years yet. Let me tell you why. Like many people, I rapidly reached a point in 2007 at which I could not read about the case. The media overkill, the McCanns' odd behaviour, and their apparent love of publicity meant I switched channels or turned the page.

But I've spent the last week reading into this. I have some experience of non-criminal investigations (and therefore of human nature under accusation and the stress of possible discovery), and of how the UK Government works. After a few days I thought I had an answer, and something useful to say on the case. Now I'm not so sure.

What's clear is that the evidence against them is, if not overwhelming, then sufficient to justify a trial in any normal circumstances. But what's also clear is that's not going to happen. The McCanns and their advisers got Gordon Brown and David Milliband to take positions early on. If there's one thing I know about government, it's that once Ministers take positions on a subject of high media importance, then all effort - and a substantial effort, at that - goes into justifying those positions. No matter for how long, or how events move on. So Alan Johnson had to meet the McCanns recently, although there was nothing he could (or would have wanted) to say to them. Expect nothing from HM Government - whoever wins the election - unless incontrovertible new evidence comes from Portugal.

What interested me more was the McCanns' behaviour. While a great deal of convincing analysis has been carried out on the detail of their apparent evasiveness in interviews, it seemed to me that less thought had been given to why they have behaved in this way. "They killed her, and this is how they are going about getting away with it" isn't good enough, to my mind. I concluded that this is all about their two younger children. "I would do anything to protect my kids" is a common expression. In saying it, most people tend to think of saving their children from a fire, or fighting off an intruder, or some such. It seemed to me that, to Gerry McCann, it meant lying on a scale, and to an audience, which would be unimaginable to most people ... to protect his remaining children from an uncertain future, were the truth to come out. Unimaginable to most people, as I say. But at least a justification one could conceive of. And, if a way out could be found for the McCanns in those terms, maybe ... who knows?

Further knowledge makes me much less sure of that. I cannot reconcile what they have said and done since May 2007 with that interpretation. Everything is inevitably thrown back to what happened on that evening and, if anything, premeditation looks more likely. But that doesn't seem to square with anything else.

So - no hope from government, and (to me at least) the McCanns remain inexplicable. Failing what would be a highly political decision by the ECHR (should the admirable Amaral decide to appeal), my guess is that the truth will not come out for years. And it won't come from the McCanns. More likely from one of the Tapas 7, when their own children are old enough for the parent(s) concerned not to have to worry about losing them to social services. Ten years? Who knows. But I think the truth will come out in the end. All experience suggests that large groups of people cannot keep secrets indefinitely.

    Long post - sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  45. One road apparently not taken yet but is one likely to be taken in future is to offer immunity from prosecution to some of the Tapas 7. Recently, difficult financial fraud cases where intent and 'insider dealng' have been proven have depended on offering immunity to some of those involved in exchange for incriminatijng testimony. This is the most obvious road to take for the authorities in this kind of complex case to get the ball rolling again.

I agree with you : once the public powers have taken a position they'll stick to it whatever happens. Their credit is at stake.

The "twins argument" would work only if those kids had killed their sister and if it was obvious they did.
I know a case of very little children (2/3) attacking(but not killing of course) a (bit) older girl 3/4) biting her and using little stones against her. It was in a private school, in a remote corner of the schoolyard, the director didn't call the parents and then asked for keeping it secret... which they did, just because they didn't want their daughter's face in the press.

I would want to know why i was left alone almost every night......i would want to know why mummy refused to answer 48 questions that could have helped find my sister....i would want to know why nobody would do a re-construction.... this and many other questions will be asked of them by the twins in years to come. They indeed have a long road ahead of them

Kate and Gerry have gone too far down the wrong road to make a U turn but the people they are dragging along with them to the abyss can make a difference.IMO someone will speak out because a lot of people are carrying a lot of guilt around with them and this is not good for the mccanns. Justice will come when they lease expect it. Perhaps the Great British Public should sign a petition to have the case re-opened especially with an election coming up that would be a good vote winner (probably everybody in the UK would sign it), with the exception of Branston, JK Rawling and Clarence, oh by the way Clarence the Yorkshire Ripper wants someone to represent him for parole and get an early release, you'd be brilliant with your PR spin but I guess you're probably be busy representing Ian Huntley or Rose West, still just a thought. 55. I used to think that the truth would come out one day,but now i'm not so sure, what puzzles me greatly is the British medias role in all this,i don't believe for one minute that all the press believes the McConns fairy story, after all they can read the McConnfiles the same as we,and i believe they have, they would know about Kates refusal to answer 47 of 48 reasonable questions, also about the dogs, the Smiths sighting, the Gaspars statement, and many other things,so why the protection,i did think maybe it was something to do with Gordon Browns interference but The Mail and Express are not labour supporting papers,so they would hardly listen to Brown,so could it be some sort of group that implicates people from high up in our country. What can possibly hold people from all backgrounds together ,something that must be covered up at all costs even the death of an innocent child.Would it be impossible ?."Sometimes there are forces and events too big,too powerful, with so much at stake for other people or institutions, that you cannot do anything about them,no matter how evil or wrong they are and no matter how dedicated or sincere you are or how much evidence you have. This is simply one of the hard facts of life you have to face.1oth CIA Director,William Colby.

    - A Book being forbid and a police persecuted and silenced?

BECAUSE MCCANN'S ARE GUILT AND THERE IS NOT A SINGLE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT AN ABDUCTION. If so, only one press conference with a single sentence from British police will be enough to clear the mccann's and stop the Circus. But they cannot say this sentence, they cannot say that the investigation produced no evidences against the parents. All the evidences, strong or weak point at them and shelving a case like that and allow the mccann's to go to court against amaral was an error. but this error suits the agenda of some people in Portugal who want to discredit the PJ and the judges.

  63. Great quote at the end of your post, #56. I think it applies in this case.

I've been thinking over the last few days about the sheer number of people who undoubtedly know that this is a cover-up to Maddie's death. Why, among all those people is there not ONE who would come forward and explain what is the true reason?

I think it is impossible for that many people to be unethical, therefore there MUST be a good explanation for their public silence.

It has to be due to some kind of danger that would possibly come from the truth being told. It can't possibly be just to save the reputations of a few politicians, or the McCanns or the rest of the group on holiday. If that were the case, someone with a conscience would come forward.

Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that the case can't be about paedophilia (as no ethical person would be involved in covering that up), can't be about reputations (ditto) and IMO opinion, it must be somehow related to a matter of national security. If all the people staying silent believe they are doing so to protect their country (not just a few politicians or citizens) then yes, it makes sense.

So what was really happening in Portugal that cannot be known to the world? My guess is some kind of intelligence operations, but others may have a better explanation.

I'm beginning to agree with those who say we will never know, but I cannot agree with those who suggest to "let it go" and give up.

Perhaps if they hadn't set up the fund, if they hadn't destroyed other people's lives and reputations, if they were not thumbing their noses at the world, declaring there is "no evidence" of Maddie's death; perhaps then we could walk away, knowing there is definitely circumstantial evidence of her death but that as parents, losing that lovely little girl would have been punishment enough.

  66. 60 Good post and .. Well if the Labour Party tried to tell the British public the McCanns are innocent they would definitely lose the election!! But if they actually were they would say so. Gordon Brown has no problem speaking up in support of genuine cases. No chance of that, hence they have to keep quiet as they do in relation to any unsolved criminal case but where the culprits are known but as yet uncharged. They cannot create prejudice against the McCanns but are in no doubt what the public think, I have written to Gordon quite a few times.

  68. 30+ Doctors mainly with children under 4 years of age independently decide on a family time holiday.

They decide on the Algarve knowing the weather will not be hot, the resort doesn't have the full range of childcare facilities and some attractions are closed, as its out of season.

Nevertheless, they pack their baby buggies, nappies, baby food, medicines etc and off they go. Would it be worth the hassle,.... yes, if all the accommodation food and drink was free, provided by a pharmaceutical company. This is normal business practice to form relationships and exchange ideas in a casual setting.

It was not a swingers do and definitely not a formal drugs trial. But there was a mishap which would have brought the use of childrens medicines to the public gaze.

It is common knowledge at that time one of the most popular British childrens medicines was banned as toxic in other European countries.
Why is it safe for British children but not for Portuguese, French, German etc.

Therefore a death would bring unwelcome publicity implicating pharmaceutical companies, the medical profession, and the political parties who receive donations from them.

The media are easily controlled, just threaten to withhold advertising revenue for medicines etc.

The PJ know how many Doctors were there that week and requested info including Doctors bank statements.

Of course, they could'nt be provided as they would show no payments for said holiday.

The tennis lessons cover the casual meetings and discussions had by many Doctors, 2 tennis courts, but lots and lots of booked hours, the Macs were not the only guests.

Jane Tanner said the week was all shop talk, i.e. medicine.(some holiday)!

I can carry on, with the DOGS ( They exist and are reliable, as many natural disasters show us when they hard work recovering survivors, CONTRARY TO THE SPECIAL 'PERSONS OF INTERESS' FROM THE MCCANN'S, POOR CARTOON FIGURES, ABSTRACT. ON TOP OF WHO NEWSPAPER HAVE TO DO A HARD EXERCISE TO FIND SOMEBODY CLOSE TO THE CARTOON.)
I can carry on with TOP AND EXPENSIVE LAWYERS. Innocent People don't need to hire so many and so expensive lawyers to defend their innocence. They just need to leave the investigation going because facts will speak by themselves. Guilt people will spend every coin in Lawyer to save their skin. McCann's Will be a SUBJECT to study one day in Criminal investigations, as the only PARENTS OF A MISSING CHILD WHO BREAK GUINNESS RECORDS by hiring not only the most expensive Lawyers but also a big number of them, IN THE SAME CASE. THERE IS MORE LAWYERS IN MCCANN CASE THEN IN 'FACE OCULTA' IN PORTUGAL WITH SEVERAL ARGUIDOS.
I can carry on with a FUND which the time show the world is used to pay legal issues, when was setted to search the girl. We can see the actions of the lawyers in newspapers across the world. Have you seen any action from the detectives? I'm Not. No matter what they claim. they can spin whatever they want, but is a fact that never a journalist surprise them anywhere, looking for Madeleine. AND JOURNALISTS ARE VERY ATTENTIVE, SPECIAL IN AN ISSUE WHICH SALES SO WELL.

BUT I WILL STAY ONLY WITH THE ASSUMED NEGLIGENCE ON THE MAY 3, NIGHT. IF that happen with me, I have no doubts that I will get 2 years in jail and spend my life to get my other childs back to me. A TRUE SHAME!!!

I've always wondered why the McCanns never mentioned Madeleine's health. Imo it is the first thing any parent would do.
Though Madeleine is lovely, I think she doesn't look healthy, something sad and oldish, just an opinion as a matter of course.

It was probably irrelevant anyway-anybody can access the Official Files, download Amaral's book from the internet, watch his doc on-line etc. Team McCann know they cannot gag everybody- but they just want the million plus eoros. I do not believe they will pull out of their libel action. They are supremely confident that a corrupt Portugese Judiciary who have backed them all the way so far, will do so at the libel trial.

  90. Post 69 brilliant - I was thinking along those lines this afternoon, this is one case that will not go away there are so many unanswered questions and the lies just keep coming. Perhaps Maddie died as a consequence of medicine her parents gave her, something an autopsy would have revealed. I think she died 2nd May her body placed in the twins bedsheets in the cupboard where the dogs detected scent of death and then removed in the Scenic that same day long before the worlds press arrived. Was it actually maddie in the cretch 3rd May or one of the other children and Maddies name entered on register. Note everybody said they 'listened' at the door nobody actually entered the room because they all knew Maddie was not in the room. The Mccanns re-hired the Scenic weeks later and Maddies DNA was still in it, it was rented by the group on that holiday and Gerry drove them to the airport in it before returning it to the hire company, which was also located at the airport. As so many doctors were on the holiday it was probably paid for by a parmaceutical company as they do give 'gifts' to doctors and pharmacists in return for prescribing their products. A pharmaceutical company would also have many connections within the government and a bottomless pit of money which seems to be the case here. Many people appear to have been 'paid for their silence' and I would suspect that at some stage they even approached Amaral to try and buy his silence, but it didn't work. A scandal like this would ruin many lives and reputations if it came out into the public domain and this is what they are all afraid of.

  91. More concerns from Dr.K Gaspar about bath time...

During our holidays, I was more attentive at the bath times after hearing Dave saying that.

During our holidays in Majorca, it was the fathers who took care of the children baths. I had the tendency to walk close to the bathroom, if it was Dave bathing the children. I remember telling Savio to took care to be there, in case it was Dave helping to bathe the children and, in particular, my daughter E. I was very clear about this, as having heard him say that had disturbed me, and I did not trust him to give bath to E. alone.

When I heard Dave say that a second time, it reinforced what I already thought in relation to his thoughts about girls. During our stay in Majorca, Dave and his wife, Fiona, accompanied by their daughter L., took Madeleine (page 6) with them to spend the day, in order to give Kate and Gerry a bit of rest and time to be with the twins. When I say this, it is not that I was worried about Madeleine’s safety, since she was also with Fiona and L., and also with Dave, as far as I know.

  95. 89 Thanks for response to my post. I think you are probably right, in that if the McCs do go for the libel trial, it's because they've been told it's in the bag. I have said in previous posts that if there is a no-win , no-fee agreement with lawyers, the McCs will be pushed to go ahead by them; otherwise they won't receive their fee.
I do wonder if Isobel Duarte has had second thoughts about them; on reflection, I bet she didn't get much support for her outburst about re-opening the investigation.
Still can't figure out what she meant by the "ugly" photographs, unless she was shown something we haven't seen, or the meaning has been lost in translation.

I don't think that, speaking of the pictures, ID said "ugly", she said "chocantes", which was interpreted in two ways. Most translated "shockingly alike", some "unbearable". I had no hesitation about the second meaning because saying so ID lowered her head either because she was embarrassed or pretending to be.

  100. Dear Poster #91,

This has always bothered me: - IF Dr. Katherine Gaspar was indeed so concerned about what Payne and his behavior towards the children, then WHY did she still allow him to bathe HER OWN daughter???!!! If it was me, I would not have that man getting near my child under any circumstances, let alone bathing her!
For me, this attitude(simply warning her husband to keep an eye on the daughter if Payne would be the one bathing the children) does not match her obvious concern about the finger sucking and nipple circles incident. There's something strange about this, in my opinion, of course.

    Que eu não sou mais
    Aquela criança
Que um dia morrendo de medo
Nos teus braços você fez segredo
Nos teus passos você foi mais eu...

    Pai!
Eu cresci e não houve outro jeito
Quero só recostar no teu peito
Prá pedir prá você ir lá em casa
E brincar de vovô com meu filho
No tapete da sala de estar
    Ah! Ah! Ah!...

    Pai!
Você foi meu herói meu bandido
    Hoje é mais
    Muito mais que um amigo
Nem você nem ninguém tá sozinho
    Você faz parte desse caminho
Que hoje eu sigo em paz
    Pai! Paz!...

Dedicado a G.Amaral pelo CAMINHO ESCOLHIDO e a Gerry PELO CAMINHO QUE ELE NAO SOUBE ESCOLHER, ENQUANTO PAI.

BOM DIA A TODOS...

  109. In reply to poster 99's response to my original post no 89: Look at the case so far. Many voice their outrage at the British Government sabotaging the original investigation. Nobody it seems highlights that the Portugese Government complied with the request to have the McCanns flown out Portugal when they became arguidos. It is the Portugese who broke their own constitution and promptly banned "The Truth Of The Lie". As sure as night follows day the temporary ban will become a permanent one. The recent hearing in Portugal was laughable-it was pre-decided. Mitchell actually announced a press conference the day before the judge announced her decision! I think the outcome of the libel hearing is pre-decided also. There is no way the McCanns would be taking legal action against Mr Amaral if they were not absolutely certain of winning.

  110. If the case of Murat against Tanner is not allowed to proceed, then it is going to look like there is something that definitely stinks with the judiciary and this case.

  111. I just wish that a warrant for the McCanns arrest was imminent. Come to think of it, for the entire b....dy tapas lot.

They were all negligent and all in on this cover up.

Mr Amaral was just doing his job but now he has to suffer for the selfish McCanns.

Mr. Amaral is a gentleman who adores his family.

Gerry McCann, well, what can one say about him!!!! Leaving 3 tots to fend for themselves, not exactly a MAN is he. Failing to protect his family - a disgrace!!

IN A NUTSHELL MR & MRS MCCANN, YOUR CHILDREN ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NO-ONE ELSES!!!!

How many more people have to suffer because of their lies and deceipt.

  112. I agree with post 101 I think the Gaspars attitude rather odd. If we stand back at look at this from a different angle perhaps this is all done to detract from what is really going on. For example when the McCaans went to Spain the acid lake theory started. The Gaspars have brought paedo theory, the Smiths stating they saw Gerry walking in different direction towards beach than Jane Tanner recalled. Everything is conflicting. The facts are the sniffer dogs did detect the smell of death. Freedom of speech is being silenced from all sides, powerful PR men are involve and their is talk of Government involvement and also a pharmeutical company paying for the holiday. Rooftop parties with the likes of Branston and JK Rowling, a meeting with the Pope, phone calls to Gordon Brown, David Milliband and David Cameron. The Mccaans are heavily involved in something which is very high profile, Now look at the holiday party - all doctors not friends from the same area but from all over. This was not a holiday and something went dreadfully wrong, hence Maddie died as a consequence of it. It is so apparent the Mccaans are lying but by whom are they being protected and why? I fear for Amaral as I feel grave forces are at work here, this is not just the road not taken but corruption at the highest level.

  113. Accounts regarding the Madeleine fund lodged with Companies House show that over two million pound was initially raised for the fund from public donations. Express Newspapers paid the McCanns £550,000.00 in libel. Murat received £600,000.00 libel damages from four newspapers. The Tapas 7 received £600,000.00 which they subsequently donated to the Madeleine fund libel damages. Amaral is being sued for over one million by the McCanns libel damages. Portugese TV channels and Newspapers have also been sued for hundreds of thousands by the McCanns for libel damages. Kate and Gerry are the epitome of the greed and corruption that so encompases them. Three years ago a child died through their incompetence as parents and they hide behind the sham they have created. They should feel ashamed of themselves and all who are involved in this discraceful money grabbing circus. This is not just the wrong road it is the road to purgatory.
