  1. E realmente uma vergonha que num pais onde a imprensa perde tempo com personagens como Jose Castelo Branco e a sua participacao ou nao em orgies, NAO HAJA UM ORGAO DE COMUNICACAO SOCIAL A DAR TEMPO DE ANTENA E VOZ A QUEM PROCURA ESCLARECER UM DOS CRIMES QUE MAIS DESTRUIU A IMAGEM DE PORTUGAL.

  5. Living in Holland, I always enjoyed listening to my parents- in- law who used to tell me how things went during the WWII.
They never knew what to believe, whom to believe and what was going on. One news would immediately be contradicted by another one, people hoping the British would come over to save the population, people got killed, died of hunger and cold... and nobody knew what was really happening.
The McCanns story sound to me exactly the same, I never know what is going on, and whom I can trust.
What I observed now is that the Irish media are making a nerve war, to scare the McCanns, I think. You can read it on McCannFiles. Who knows it is true.

  9. Somewhere a Tweeter saying the results of the Met will be known within a few months.Very good, if it is true. Now Ireland is saying the abductor had a key of the front door. But there was no traces of other people using it. Besides how to explain the cadaver odour in the sleeping room and behind the sofa, on Kate's and Maddie's clothes and Maddie's toy? And in the car and the key of the car? Blood and DNA? And where is the pink blanket?
I still hope, if Maddie was temporarily buried in that blue bag, that there was hair in the sand in and around the grave, if the PJ followed those relatives the night of the exhumation. There must have been at least one hair because it takes time to dig a deep grave and to fill it up.Besides a beach is always windy, specially in the evening and at night and it is easier to lose hair.
I also hope the body leaked liquid with DNA, through the bag, and possibly it ramained in the sand, around and under it.I think sand can preserve DNA better than earth. It could be, I don't know. Can you imagine Jane Tanner's long hair in the grave? She will explain it is the abductor's.

The funny thing is with Pat Brown en route to Algarve where she is bound to meet and exchange views with Gonçalo Amaral, I will not be surprised if she volunteers to appear in court as a witness - either in person or via video conferencing.

I really would love to see Pat Brown in a tête-a-tête with the McCanns and/or Isabel Duarte. That would be fun AND it would have a tremendous impact on the judge's decision...forget "Photoshop" Pinto!

Anyway, Pat is now on target to meet the McCanns having told Carter-*uck "Stop threatening me of face prosecution!" - or legalese to that effect.

That is how you deal with arrogant people. You don't wait for them to sue you, you prosecute them!

@5 "What I observed now is that the Irish media are making a nerve war, to scare the McCanns, I think. You can read it on McCannFiles. Who knows it is true."

Donald MacIntyre, the journo who portrays himself as a wanna be criminal profiler, is obvious a Mac - a pro-McCann that is, and for all we know is probably being paid by Burson-Marsteller to tell his story now.

This is probably counter-information to coincide with the presence in Portugal of Pat Brown - the real criminal profiler. Just an hunch.

What the Smiths saw was someone resembling closely Gerry McCann NOT a complete stranger who allegedly had a spare key to the apartment.

    Try Johanna's Theory at:

    http://unterdenteppichgekehrt.blogspot.com/p/theory-english.html

That is more like it AND much closer to the Portuguese PJ theory.

Whatever theories MC payees and sympathizers may come up with - and that applies to Scotland Yard as well... they weren't there on site holding the complete details in their hands under their eyes.

It is all much blah-blah-blah ado about nothing against Eddie's bow-bow-bow about something.

    Eddie - the forensic dog.

Add to it the blatant contradictions, the false accusation of Robert Murat, the PR campaigns, a multi-million Fund, etc.

If you don't have the time to read the PJ files then just follow Dr. Gerry McCann advice and "Ask the dogs!"

I can remember early on reading in two of the statements of those who worked at the Tapas restaurant that night, that Gerry McCann was absent from the table between the times of 9.30pm and 10pm. Now those comments are no more to be found, also one of the statements saying that when he got back Kate got up and went and raised the alarm. What is going on??? Or are we now supposed to believe that the man in the Smith sighting could not have been Gerry because his friends can vouch he was at the table throughout that time. I'll bet they can.

  17. PAT BROWN VISIT TO PORTUGAL AND HER SEARCH FOR MADELEINE

The "Algarve Resident" - the English language newspaper for British expatriates published in Portugal, seems to have been the first mainstream media outlet there to break the news of Pat Brown visit to Portugal.

Shame on you rest! Correio da Manhã! 24 Horas! Publico! Diário de Noticias! Jornal de Noticias! Expresso! TVI! RTP! RR! TSF! Et cetera.

I have to take my hat off to "Algarve Resident".

It took a mainstream British media outlet in Portugal to have the guts to mention the name McCann without fear of being "photoshopped".*

    Please read on:

"American crime profiler Pat Brown arrived in the Algarve on February 6 to "search for locations" where missing Madeleine might be."

"Although Pat Brown does not believe the odds are great in finding Madeleine on her trip, she hopes to increase her knowledge of what exactly did happen on the evening of Madeleine's disappearance, in order to unearth information that could move the case forward.

She states online that she will be updating her findings as and when she can.

For more information about Pat Brown and what she believes has happened to Madeleine, please see: http://patbrownprofiling.blogspot.com" (quotes)

    Full article here:

    http://www.algarveresident.com/0-45588/algarve/search-for-madeleine-continues

    Footnote:

The expression "photoshopped" has become the Portuguese equivalent of "carter-*ucked".

Coined after Marinho "Photoshop" Pinto - the outspoken Portuguese head of the bar who was instrumental in the character assassination of top PJ investigator - Gonçalo "Big Rock" Amaral.

Pinto is reported to have done so, by using "Photoshop-ed" (doctored) photos to frame the victim AND avoiding being cross-examined by the defence afterwards, by using his status and prerogatives as head of the bar - a most novel way to corrupt the course of Justice. Copyright pending.

"Photoshop" Pinto is also known as "Adobe" or "Abóbora".

Probably it will coincide with the main trial. It will be something to impress the judges. Also the main reason the McCanns' delayed the trial could have been the hope Scotland Yard would, meanwhile, come up with a statement that denigrates the Portuguese investigation and thus supports the McCanns' own "official" (or else we will prosecute you) version of events. There are other possibilities such as (someone pointed out here already) to avoid a face-to-face with Pat Brown, but I better not go into more speculation just in case the Carter Pack is becoming impatient.

Generally speaking, we all lost ou trust in all of the angels and saints in Heaven, when Socrates decided that the McCanns could go home.We see a new ghost behind every corner and people here have their doubts about the Scotland Yard and they still believe in the McCanns' power.
The McCann's power now are 1) their money 2) the media( not always) and their spokes man, Mitchell. Not more than that and that is not enough to fight back the Scotland Yard and the PJ together, with the truth they are aware of.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The saying 'the best form of defence is attack' is very true.

It works against bullyboys because they are used to getting their own way, having thrown their weight around so often, and they are taken off guard when attacked back.

I bet the McCanns are worried sick that Pat will end up as a witness for Dr Amaral, which would help reinforce to the Court what kind of people they are. It would become very apparent they are people who want total control over how a person is allowed to think, speak, or write about this case, and if that isn't the same as the McCanns' version of events, then they are quite capable of harassing and threatening that person until they can get them to stop.

Meanwhile, they still haven't proven there ever was an 'abduction', though they have been brainwashing and selling this theory to the unsuspecting public all these years, and been given millions on the strength of their so called 'search'.

The public should not be kept ignorant as to the facts, evidence, possibilities, and conclusions reached by the official investigators who actually worked on the case. Then they can make an informed decision whether or not to hand over yet more of their hard earned money to this couple who are always pleading poverty.

The books the McCanns are attempting to ban are essential reading for the public to educate them as to these other possibilities of what happened to Madeleine, and after all, if the public don't continue to give the McCanns money after reading them, it is not as if the McCanns are on skid row and couldn't continue with their 'search' if they so wished. They could always flog that big house of theirs for a start and move to somewhere a bit smaller. Maybe their own family could contribute money, as they all look well heeled.

It would be very interesting to see if they would ever actually use their own money for the 'search', though they are quite willing to take money from people much poorer than themselves, and any amount of cash will do, sent in an envelope, and addressed to them at Rothley.

Of course, we must take it on trust as to how this money has been used, and that it has been used for the 'search' as those who send it were led to believe. I doubt they would have been very pleased if they had been told that half of the money went to support the McCanns' 'extended family' which was said to have been the case.

Just like they were not pleased when it was revealed the McCanns were using the Fund money to pay their mortgage. Of course, it was perfectly legal for them to do that as they had made sure of that in the terms of their Fund, and they could spend it at will, but nevertheless, the public were not pleased at all since they expected ALL the money to be used for the search for their daughter.

Maybe one day soon we will learn where it did all go.

  25. @12 and 13

It is a mistake to take everything written in the press about this case at face value, a bit unrealistic to assume that every journalist is an idiot who knows less about it than we do. Bear in mind, the McCanns must not be alerted, any future trials must not be prejudiced, the dogs at Carter Ruck must not be allowed to bark. It`s a world where even to describe an unsolved disappearance as "a mystery" can get you into trouble. Any journalist interested in the case has two choices: to shut up completely or use a lot of guile.

MacIntyre, who has a proven track record in investigative journalism, has written a lot of typical McCann claptrap and lies here: he has to, to protect himself and his paper. But what are the essential nuggets of information that readers take away from his article? That the McCanns and their friends are to be reinterviewed, that the Smith sighting is to be "the central plank" of the SY review. Sounds good to me.

I believe that nearly five years of frustration, anger and disppointment have left a lot of people understandably paranoid, no longer able to see when the glass might just possibly be half-full.

  26. to shit bricks must be very painful, I guess.
On the Telegraph of May 2011, there is a video where the McCanns talk about the fact the government is not giving any answer to them. I hope Tapas 7 saw it and that they are not scared anynore to tell the truth. The McCanns lost their power, it is obvious. This report could come from Jim Gamble, who knows, telling the truth and I'm sure the Met are using it too. On that video we can see Kate's golden ring with rubies, something we didn't see before. From the fund's money. And every penny was to search for Madeleine? Before, they even didn't have money to pay the mortage and now, even before they started selling the book, she could already buy that expensive ring. And Gerry is the only one who is working now.
I wonder if Tapas 7 have that huge amount of money too.

Hot on Pat Brown's Facebook! (quote):

"The anti-abduction "dream-team" finally meet in Portugal, much to the consternation, I'm sure, of pro-McCann supporters everywhere. Pat Brown, criminal profiler and author of "Profile of the Disappearance of Madeleine McCann", shares a moment with Goncalo Amaral, former Portuguese police officer and author of "The Truth of the Lie". 30. When the Portuguese police were all by themselves, investigating the case, criticism was raining on them, expressed by the media and by the McCanns' relatives. The McCanns themselves were always complaining "we are the parents, we need to know". And Bureau Blacksmith is writing today about "no leaks " from the Scotland Yard, and that police don't leak anything.Where are the complaining McCanns and Philomena? Till now, Portugal denied any contact with the Met, which is good, and official news, if they exist, are coming from London. This means the results could come within a few months or within a few centuries, we don't know.
It is even possible that Tapas 7 have being again interrogated and we don't know or they are about to be. Because they will be and I pray they will be made suspects.Because they are. Hiding a crime, colaborating with the perpetrator, this is a serious crime. And knowing the twins are at risk.If something bad happens also to the twins, I will consider Tapas 7 as responsible too, imo.

  34. How long this is still going to take, how long without knowing what the Met are doing, gosh,I wish I would work for the Scotland Yard. Waiting every second of this life and time seems to go extremely slow. Again wait for an official statement from London. How far they are, do they agree with the PJ (I'm sure they do) and then the time of new interrogations will come. Tanner will again describe the abductor, Jezz will again deny he ever saw her,Matthew will swear by god he saw two windows in the bedroom, O'Brian will tell he changed the sheets...
This time at least one of the Tapas will come forward, I believe. The pressure of the Met on them is tough, they can not engage Philomena to make up stories for them.
If the group Tapas 7 goes to the Scotland Yard as witnesses, it will cost them little money: only petrol for their car during the trip to the police station.
If the police prove they commited perjury hiding a crime, they will spend millions in order to defend themselves by using expensive lawyers. And they can end up behind bars after having becoming very poor.
In short time Murat spent all of his and of his mother's money, defending himself of a crime he didn't commit. The same will happen to the stupid Tapas 7, if they don't go to the police as simple witnesses.
We see how the law protect the Gaspars, no problem, they are not sued.I think if the circunstances around this case oblige Tapas 7 to spend money, they have the right to send the invoyces to the McCanns. It is high time the McCanns start paying around.

    KATE MCCANN'S NEW BOOK

Kate McCann is working on an updated paperback version of her best-seller, Madeleine

    Sunday February 12,2012
    By Sunday Express reporter
KATE McCann is working on an updated paperback version of her best-selling hardback book, Madeleine, writes Tracey Kandohla.
It is thought the new book, set to be published in the spring, will include details about the Scotland Yard review of her daughter’s kidnapping.
It will be published shortly before the fifth anniversary of three-year-old Madeleine’s disappearance in Portugal on May 3, 2007. The hardback raised £2million for the Madeleine Fund. More than 280,000 sold in Britain. Thousands more have been sold around the world in countries such as Australia, Spain and Portugal.
Kate hopes the paperback will be a hit with British holidaymakers over the summer. Kate, 43, a doctor, said: “Somebody holds that key piece of the jigsaw. I am hopeful that this book may help the investigation. It might prompt someone who has relevant information, maybe without even knowing it, to come forward.”
Her publisher Alison Barrow, from Transworld said: “Kate’s first book was a phenomenal success. It achieved astounding sales, especially for a first-time author, and it was the number one book in Britain for weeks.
We just hope Kate’s original book and her new book bring her one step closer to finding her daughter
    Kate McCann's publisher
“We just hope Kate’s original book and her new book bring her one step closer to finding her daughter.”
The 384-page hardback, was launched on Madeleine’s eighth birthday on May 12 last year.

  36. Kate is writing an updated version of "Madeleine" and it is understandable.
She has a lot to repair, after having ofended Portugal and the British government. I wonder if she will tell that she really prayed for Maddie's Guard Angel. I bet she will, after having read my comments here.
She will write about the work of the Scotland Yard in this case. Will she?
Don't tell me she knows what is going on. She isn't.
She wants to whitewash themselves, after they ofended Cameron on May the 12th last year."Action, not rhetoric" "If you are a prime minister you have a responsibility"... And they need more money because those two million pounds that the book brought up will not be enough if they have to pay back the fraudulent fund and the Express new papers, Amaral, Tony Bennett, Murat... This new book is coming from a terrible need of making more money that they will need within a short time. Lawyers are also expensive. Who knows Mrs. Fenn's son is suing her.And the Ocean Club?

Perhaps they expect the truth to come out very soon and people will sue them. They will have to pay them. Halleluia.
Finally the McCanns will start paying around.

Madeleine McCann detective made £300k from book about tragedy Daily Record

    Feb 12 2012

THE Portuguese detective who was thrown off the Madeleine McCann case has made a fortune spouting lies about the missing girl's parents.

Gonçalo Amaral has been paid at least £320,000 for a book and DVD peddling claims that Kate and Gerry McCann covered up Madeleine's death in their holiday apartment.

The McCanns are suing Amaral for at least £1million for libel and breaching their human rights.

Their case against him was due to be heard in Lisbon last week but was postponed when he split from his legal team.

Amaral was booted off the police investigation following the disappearance of the three-year-old in 2007 after five months in charge.

His book – The Truth About The Lie – became a bestseller in Portugal, even though the country's top legal officials insist there is no evidence to back up his accusations.

Amaral is believed to have made £1million from information about the case.

A legal source close to the McCanns said: "Amaral made an astonishing amount of money from his campaign to discredit the McCanns.

"I don’t know how he sleeps at night, knowing he cashed in on the tragic story of a young girl’s disappearance."

Lawyers for the couple are expected to present proof of some of the ex-detective's earnings when the case is heard.

They will show Amaral received at least £287,000 from the book publishers and £33,600 for a DVD.

  38. "HAVE YOUR SAY IS UNAVAILABLE FOR THIS STORY" (Sunday Express)

Why? Is it an advert paid by Burson-Marsteller?

Considerable "Mickey Mouse" activity in the Scottish press to counteract any ill psychological effects of Pat Brown's get-together with Gonçalo Amaral and other "Maddie Case" key figures in Portugal...

The "Daily Record" - Scotland best selling tabloid, claims Dr. Gonçalo Amaral has make £300K from "peddling claims that Kate and Gerry McCann covered up Madeleine's death in their holiday apartment."

Then they correct the figure to £1 million probably to make the McCanns' heist figure look a wee less preposterous.

The journo writes how Amaral "breached the McCanns human rights"! :c oh! Dear!

The "Scottish Sunday Express" on the other hand, reveals how "Kate McCann plans to publish an updated paperback version of her best-selling hardback book, Madeleine" - informing readers that her book has netted more than £2 million for the "Fund" so far :e

The publication of the "masterpiece" is scheduled to coincide with Amaral trial in April/May. She hopes it "will be a hit with British holidaymakers over the summer." (quote)

:d Good to know that they have made £2 million so far, though.

They might need that to pay out Dr. G. Amaral counter-compensation claims not to mention Pat Brown's...

    One thing is for sure...

The British press never misses an opportunity to support their folks whereas their Portuguese counterparts go hiding under the desks...

:o What a bunch of geese!

:o PSssst "Have your say is unavailable for this story" Why? Is it an ad paid by Burson-Marsteller?

What I actually think happens is Mitchell/Cameron's decision to set up the Leveson Enquiry and then invite the McCanns to act on the "soap" has made the all subject taboo. Nothing that might hurt the "poor parents" feelings is to be published. They are, after all, now worth millions to the ailing British economy.
    :d Queen's OBE to follow...

  39. Kate, after Amaral's comment about the pink blanket, you wrote on your book that you gave it to a police man.

You have a few months to make up how to explain eventual hair(Gerry's, relatives') mixed up in the sand of Maddie's grave. You can write they were suffering of lack of vitamine B and praia da Luz is very windy, hair was flying around, etc.
But you got to find an innocent explanation, as Clarence Mitchell promised us, ok?

Don't forget to write about the Guard Angel, who protects only alive people.

  40. Within some time, Tapas 7 will need lawyers to defend them of being declared suspects. It is even possible they started already consulting sollicitors. What to do in order to avoid prison: false statements, perjury, hiding a crime, etc.
They don't have anything to do with Madeleine's death. Probably Gerry promised them that the noise would finish in six weeks, all of them would go back to England and continue living their own lives.
But it went wronger and wronger. After four years, the Scotland Yard got involved in the case and it is much worse for Tapas 9 now.
The McCanns can impossibly complain they are incompetent. It was their request, after all.
I expect the couple to pay all expenses that Tapas 7 will make because they got involved in a crime they didn't commit. They were under pressure of the parents, they had a short time to think about the consequences of what they were doing and, see, what a mess.
Now we can count on at least one new book, every year.

  41. If the parents were involved in getting Madeleine back to the UK, a great psychological moment would have been when Kate had her 'dream' and had the investigators distracted and searching the hills of PDL for Madeleine.

    Meanwhile, where was Gerry?

It has been said that Gerry was on his way to the US at the time on one of Branson's planes, though the plane made a stop in London.

If this is so, what luggage did Gerry take with him, and did Gerry leave the plane during this time and was any luggage, even hand luggage, taken off? Was the plane met there by somebody and something handed over by Gerry?

Maybe it would still be worth interviewing those who were on this trip.

Criminal Profiling Topic of the Day: A Picture Worth a Thousand Words
“Martha? I’m stepping out on the balcony for a smoke. Hey, Martha, come here! What the hell is that man doing at that window? You see right there? He’s busting in the window? Martha, go call the police! Hey, he’s crawling in flat….must be planning to steal…oh, my god, Martha! Tell the police he’s carrying out a child! I’m running downstairs! Maybe I can stop him!”

Yes, you are looking at Apartment 5A, the very apartment the McCanns were renting on May 3rd, 2007. The time is 10 pm on February 12, 2012. The photo was taken from the third floor of the building across the street. There was some shrubbery along the left wall of the parking lot that has been removed but the view of the McCanns door and window would not have been obscured. The lights on the buildings and in the streets turn the building into a veritable fishbowl (some claim massive lighting improvement since that day but I have heard that it has not changed much). What idiot would think breaking in the window at Apartment 5A or carrying a child out of that window or even the door next to it would be a terribly bright idea? One thing kidnappers know is there are enough human fish in the sea that one doesn’t have to abduct someone under such risky conditions.

The next picture shows the front side of the apartment building with close-up of the window of Apartment 5A. I am standing in the doorway. Can you see how bright it is at night?

This picture shows the corner where Jane Tanner sees a man cross the street coming from the apartment, child in his outstretched hands. If you were an abductor, would you be comfortable choosing to walk out in the open, across the well-light street with three people on it? Would you at least think walking the other direction hugging the wall might be a bit smarter, maybe cut down your chances of being seen?

Robert Murat, the only other Arguido (suspect) in the case, lived on a couple blocks down the way in the direction Jane Tanner claimed the man carrying a child was walking. But, Robert Murat was a known individual in town and many people in Praia da Luz own places here or rent for a long period of time and return year after year. Would someone who knows people might recognize him walk down well-lit streets - his face totally exposed – straight to his own house? He would have to have an IQ far below 70 to think this would be clever.

If anyone took a child from the apartment, it would be smarter to walk the opposite way of the man Jane Tanner claims to have seen. Here you can see the wall I just mentioned that he could walk very close to and be out of sight of anyone looking down from the tall apartment building across the street. Even more intelligent would be for an abductor to leave the back of the apartment by the sliding glass doors and hurry down the enclosed path which leads up to the parking area at the front of the apartment and go out at the end of the street and onward to the darker end of the road. It is exactly this path that leads to the Smith sighting.

Praia da Luz is a very cozy, brightly lit, off-the-main road very small and charming resort town. No sex ring is going to choose this location to target children. A child sex predator might lurk about here but he would be wiser abducting a child from the outskirts of the town or in pretty much any other nearby village. There are some darker side streets further to the edge of the town that a predator or someone carrying a child would be a bit less visible . Apartment 5A would rank pretty much at the bottom of any abductor’s list of places to grab a kid. The only reason someone would remove a child from 5A would be of necessity. Then he would never take the route Jane Tanner claimed she saw the man carrying a child.

More on the most likely route one would take to carry Madeleine from Apartment 5A in my next blog.

Continuo a seguir atentamente o desenvolvimento deste caso e toda e qualquer nova informação será sempre benvinda.
    Um abração.

Just a message to all those interested in hearing Pat Brown Criminal Profiler's findings from her visit to the Algarve last week: an exclusive interview with Algarve123 newspaper will be published in our next edition, coming out on Thursday 24th February! Hope you enjoy it... and to "anonymous" who said it was a pity no-one wrote about the visit previously, we were actually waiting until we met the lady! We rarely just rehash press releases when it comes to stories like this one.

:q Thanks Natasha. I am looking forward to read it and I am sure others in the English-speaking world are too. As a Portuguese national I was starting to feel embarrassed by the extent Pat Brown has been ignored by the media in Portugal. One wonders why.
Good on you and "Algarve 123"!
