PJ searches for Maddie's body again

Judiciary Police tries to find Madeleine's body.
Sniffer dogs had detected 'cadaver scent' in the car rented by Kate and Gerry

Hypothesis of homicide is investigated by the authorities. Follow the investigation with CM.

by Ana Isabel Fonseca/ Tânia Laranjo

The Judiciary Police has already taken steps to try to find Maddie's body, following the reopening of the case. The hypothesis that the British girl was murdered is one of the lines of investigation being followed by the inspectors. The thesis of homicide integrates the framework of a kidnapping for reasons connected to paedophilia.

The CM knows that the Judiciary Police has undertaken several steps in recent days to try to discover Maddie's body, who disappeared on the night of May 3, 2007 from her bedroom at the tourist resort of the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz, Lagos.

The inspectors in charge of the case have for that matter presented evidence supporting this hypothesis to the Public Ministry, who decided, last Thursday, to reopen the investigation.

Shortly after the disappearance of Madeleine, the PJ took steps to try to find the cadaver, but those proved fruitless. Inspectors received at the time several false leads about the possible location of the girl's corpse, who was at the time the crime, three years old.

The Judiciary Police also heard several witnesses and returned to the village of Praia da Luz. There, the inspectors took the opportunity to check the location of mobile phone masts.

  2. Thank you, Joana. I don't have to rush out and buy the paper now.
Reading this and knowing that the PJ are looking for the child's remains makes it all of a sudden so sad. Pia

  3. I think the clue was "If she's dead she's dead, but not by their hand". Would any true parent cover for anyone else murdering their daughter? Was that little girl despised by them that much? Once again the PJ need to have ever member of the McCann holiday group back including G & K McCann. With what being revealed and their Crimedesk appeal can they really refused to help the police this time? PR is out of the window at this time. This would be the ideal time for real questions to be asked. The world have had a glimpse of corruption with the so-called victims weekend revelations. Just because they think they are no longer suspects they are obliged to help the police with their enquiries hmm?

Será provavelmente a verdade oficiosa. Assim, nunca saberemos a verdade real já que a primeira Equipa foi deliberadamente perseguida na busca dessa verdade. UK conseguiu obstruir tudo e continua a fazê-lo.

  5. What Evidence do they have to re-open the case? I thought this would only re-open if they had evidence to do so..I have not heard anything.. And I doubt very much she is buried in the Murat grounds....just another smoke screen ...

  6. Again the McCanns won't like this piece of news. While the Scotland Yard is looking for Maddie alive (as far as we know), the PJ goes back to square one and have dogs searching for her body. While in Britain the police says everything points to Maddie being alive, in Portugal the PJ believes that she "is gone" (her mother's words). Interesting!

  7. Time this little one was laid to rest with dignity and the guilty charged with all speed.

  8. Fernis @6 the sniffer dogs is a reference to the English dogs that were sent to Portugal when the English police was working with the Portuguese police, not dogs that were used recently.

  10. K'ching as another claim for £lm for even suggesting she might be dead

But in general can this farce actually become any worse.

I never thought the day would come, when TM is actually silenced by it's own shot in the foot. And one can just imagine what is lined up for the Sundays this week end, if they manage to find Halligen, yet alone Exton. And dare Cowley and Edgar ever show their faces again - since they reviewed all the McCanns material, talking of which where are they?

Or the £loot is running out.

  11. PJ looking for Madeleine's body tells me nothing has changed from their point of view .

  12. If this is the case that they appear to have evidence that Maddie is dead, I pray to god they find her soon and she can rest in peace, and become one o the most beautiful of angels. And the evil ones that are guilty whoever they are.........be locked up and the key thrown away.

  13. Somebody must have told about the body and they are preparing us for the news. I don't believe that they would tell "we are again sniffing around, no idea where to search, etc".
It is even possible that they have found it already otherwise they would not have said it.
Who knows waiting for results of the DNA test to confirm its identity, to confront the perpetratos with the facts, to make arrests and then the police will make an official statement. I can't believe it is this far.

  14. What is amazing about the Sunday Times article is Clarence Mitchell's total silence , no appearances on news channels to tear the article apart , no " our lawyers are going to respond". Nothing .......
The British Police would want to be careful pointing the finger of blame on gypsies. It has being shown in Greece that the version the "parents" gave after the DNA tests revealed it wasnt their child was true. The Irish Gardái have been left red faced . I only wish that this is the end game, that we are in the final stages and finally find out what happened to Madeleine McCann .

  15. Abused children take on the guilt of their abusers. Maddie has no voice but she needs to find peace. I pray that the guilty parties are brought to justice very soon.

  16. So, here we go again, around and around, Maddy is alive, Maddy is dead!! Nobody seems to know what the new evidence is which made the PJ re-open the case. The Scotland Yard Crimewatch Programme used "sightings" from 2007 so nothing new there. I believe I am correct in saying that the Smith Family contacted Police in 2007! Still it seems, even with Scotland Yard, no reconstruction of the timeline and Events of that awful night has been done. So many questions not even asked by the media!! It goes on and on and on. Still we are all waiting for the Tapas 7 to co-operate with this Investigation. It must be documentated by the PJ that the McCanns and friends would not allow any Access to their mobile phone records etc. Will we ever learn what happened to Madeleine McCann ??

  20. You can’t trust anything that is disseminated by the mainstream media about this case. What this case has demonstrated is that the priority of journalists is not to present the facts. The news media has become a public relations tool that can be purchased by anyone including criminals. And sometimes stories are fashioned just to pique the public’s interest. This article gives no sources; it just states that CM knows. It could very well be that the PJ are looking for the child’s remains or it could be that everyone is going about their daily tasks, which does not include doing anything to solve this case.

If the girl’s remains were to be found it is highly unlikely that the manner of death could be determined given the amount of time that has passed since her disappearance, finding her remains will not prove that she was abducted and murdered by a paedophile. Anyone who puts forth such a theory is choosing to ignore the elephant in the room. The elephant in the room being the presence of death detected by the dogs in the McCann’s apartment and vehicle..

  21. From the website of a german newschannel:

    Original:

    http://www.tagesschau.de/ausland/ermittlungen-madeleine100.html

    English:

Portuguese and british authorities work together

The portuguese authorities asked the british authorities in this context [the Madeleine case] for support. The investigations in Portugal and by Scotland Yard are supposed to run in parallel and each [authority] is supposed to follow a different line of investigation, the british side in London tells.

  22. in my view Madeleine's remains will have been cremated long ago , not a chance in hell of ever finding her body .

" Find the body and prove we killed her ." Says everything doesn't it .

  23. People who accepted the McCann line about being betrayed by bungling Portuguese police now realise there is something else going on. They are shocked and newly suspvicious of the parents now an important lie has been revealed. Thank you S Amaral. Without you would they be unsuspected?

  24. I think things must be at defcon 5 at Rothley Towers. Plus where is Mitchell? Has he jumped ship after dropping the Mccanns in it in the Sunday Times article as the "fund spokesman". No idea what Redwood is playing at. Can';t work out if he is just a stooge or playing a clever game.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @number 9 Cowley and Edgar did all the work and drew the right conclusions. They concluded that whoever got Maddy needed a key to the apartment. the jump they didn't make, or at least not to the Mccanns, is what this really means.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I don't believe that the body was cremated. People who work at a crematorium would recognize the McCanns.

  27. Redwood is definitely playing a clever game.

  28. Have they eliminated the Ribeira de Budens marsh, just in from the coast, south of N125? Tall reeds and soft ground, (was) fairly secluded.

  29. I would use different cadaver / blood dogs in 5A and Scenic again. Cadaverine is almost impossible to wash/destroy. They say 'Dogs don't lie' - well in this case it would be 'Dogs don't lie twice'!!

  30. The only thing missing is physical evidence admissible in court. Dogs are not admissible although useful. If only logic thinking and common sense were too... So this charade and egotistic parade by the mccanns comes to an end and the child can finaly rest in peace. How far could they have reached on foot and by car between 9.15 and 10 pm? Not very far. And did anyone noticed gerry managed to hire the car without a driving license? His wallet had'nt been returned yet. Wonder if this wasn't the only time.

  32. Well done Portuguese Police and Mr Amaral the only honest police officer unlike the corrupt police of the UK . I strongly feel , as the UK , is a country that is gravely concerned about " human rights" and the rest of the cobblers will instruct Scotland yard to tell the truth and hand over the two who every man woman and child the world over knows had something to do with their daughters death to the Portuguese Police so they can be tried and convicted under Portuguese law for neglect , abandonment and manslaughter together with the rest of the tapas lot and to serve a very long sentence with hard labour for the Mccanns professional liar who has been busy earning money for the joke of a fund ! About time they feel the long arm of the law on the collars they are all a sad excuse of the human race who took the world for a joke with their abduction fantasy !

  33. My advice to the MET POLICE? Search the Sunday Times evidence at least 4 (FOUR) times* otherwise you might overlook vital evidence in your search for that little girl.

    * It took the MET 4 searches to find the body of that dead child in that tiny attic recently.

  34. @poster 34

I could never get over the oversight of the Police in that case. I also could never get over the fact that the Grandmother never suspected anything. I also could never get over the fact the she could never smell anything.

I could never get over the fact that the killer 'cried' great big crocodile tears and was guilty !

    Same with the McCanns !

  35. I wish the McCanns would be forced to answer all of the questions they refused to answer when they were arguidos. I also wish that someone will take Mr. Smith seriously when he says he saw Gerry carrying Madeleine that night. The really important things are being ignored and I'm really angry with the fact that the McCanns seem to get away with anything they say. Why do these people have so much power? Who' is afraid of them and why? They are hiding the truth but they should know that eventually the truth will come out. One of them will break down but it's thoughtful that it hasn't happend yet.. Perhaps it is all a setup to raise money while the keep Maddie locked up somewhere.. I don't know. I think about this case more than I should and I probably read more than I should. I've had so many theories but in the end I think of the blood and hair that was found in the car 22 days AFTER she went missing. How is that possible if she has not been there physically??? So many things doesn't make sense at all!!!
