Shameless: Maddie Lookalike for Hire
THE boss of a lookalike agency who hopes to make a fortune out of a little Madeleine McCann double said last night: “It’s not sinister – it’s entertainment.”
Shona Adams reckons three-year-old Kelsey’s similarity to missing Maddie could earn her £9MILLION for starring in a proposed feature film about the vanished tot.
And Adams is ready to take a 20 per cent cut. The 41-year-old, who runs London’s Juliet Adams Model Agency, said: “If the film about Madeleine is ever made, then the world is Kelsey’s oyster.
“If someone like Steven Spielberg made it, she could make £9million easily – of which I’d t
ake 20 per cent. She will become a name in her own right and make it as a child model or actress because she’s got her foot in the door.
“And from there, her earning potential is limitless. It’s not sinister. And if the McCanns are upset, there’s nothing they can do because it’s a democracy.
“I wouldn’t back away from it because, if a film is being made, then it’s entertainment.”
Incredibly Adams says a staggering 120 potential doubles have been sent to her from wannabe Maddie lookalikes worldwide.
Ms Juliet-Adams said: “The entertainment world is an expensive business.”
The agency does not directly advertise its Madeleine lookalikes, nor is there any suggestion that the child offered is in any way linked to the real Madeleine or to her disappearance.*
But other parents of blonde and blue-eyed daughters have also come forward to register their own youngsters.
And the agency has kept them on the books in case they are asked to provide a lookalike for a movie.
Ms Juliet-Adams said last night: “Its not such a sensitive issue now, as the McCanns will be looking for someone to play Maddie in the film. I’m just doing my job, I provide lookalikes. I’ve done nothing wrong.”

Entrei em choque quando encontrei o link para Juliet Adams Model no google, e ainda mais enojada quando entrei no site e vi o link para uma madeleine lookalike... Que horror estes f.d.p. todos a aproveitarem-se da miséria de uma criança. Depois pensei, de outra forma, com tantos spins será que está estória não é mais uma para adocicar a imagem dos coitadinhos dos pais da madeleine, dos pais que se sabe na mesma altura querem arrecadar mais umas massas num eventual docudrama/filme? Terrível! Seja duma forma ou de outra, eu, infelizmente tornei-me - por exposição em demasia às mentiras e difamações que correm por aqui(na net) - insensível a qualquer apelo feito pelos Mccanns ...
