Three Arguidos Forum Hacked is Back

While performing our server switchover today we encountered a malicious code that has effectively corrupted out our entire database of postings and member details.

We are working on the problem so please bear with us. I have my suspicions that the code came from HTFM affiliates. Police have been informed.

If we can resurrect the database we will be online sometime tommorrow morning.

If you would like more information please email thethreearguidos@googlemail.com to confirm this information.

There is a very slight chance some personal details have been compromised. Do not reply to any emails other than those from thethreearguidos@googlemail.com Any phishing attempts are illegal and should be reported to the police.

Thanks for bearing with us. We will be back soon, Three Arguidos is here to stay.

the attempt were picked up by our security team at the hosts.
rest assured it was a terrible mistake by those HTFM to try and by doing so they only risk losing their website encouraging these attacks.

the hosts are taking the matter very very seriously and its another victory for us.

the downtime was only due to us moving server but their attempts were picked up and logged and being delt with."

Update: the forum was having server issues.

The 3 arguidos's has recently had an influx of around 400 new members since the abrupt closure of the Mirror's "Hunt for Maddie" forum last week.
