Furious McCanns & Clarence 'spinner' Mitchell Threat Gonçalo Amaral .... Again

Gerry McCann buried Madeleine's body on the beach, Portuguese detective says

The Portuguese detective who was sacked [not sacked, but retired] as head of the team investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has accused her father of burying her body on the beach near their holiday apartment the same night that she was reported missing.

Kate and Gerry McCann said the Portugese detective's claims were "grossly defamatory and utterly without foundation"

In the latest of a series of extraordinary claims about the case, Goncalo Amaral, says he believes that Maddy died accidently in the McCann's rented flat as the result of a fall and that her father disposed of the body.

The disgraced detective - who has sold 120,000 copies of a book he has just published a book about the case - says an Irishman had claimed that he had seen Mr McCann with a child in his arms walking towards the beach on the night that Maddy reportedly disappeared.

The McCanns dismissed the claims, made in an interview with a Spanish newspaper, as "ridiculous".

Clarence Mitchell, the family's spokesman, said: "As Kate has said today Mr Amaral is a complete disgrace.

"His comments are grossly defamatory and utterly without foundation."

Mr Amaral, who has now retired from Portugal's Judicial Police investigation force, says in the El Mundo newspaper: "The Portuguese police, like the British [police], and also the prosecutor, who has now changed his opinion, thought the same. We are talking of a death involving third parties, not of homicide.

"In the bedroom blood and the smell of a body were found just below a window where there was a sofa. The father was there for a short time just outside this window having a conversation with a friend.

"The parents said the girl did not have a bad dream. Maybe the girl heard the father and climbed onto the sofa under the window. But the parents had pulled it away from the wall. so that the girl would not get out, and Madeleine could have fallen."

The former policeman talks about the Irish witness seeing Mr Cann carrying a child towards the beach and about sniffer dogs finding traces of blood and the scent of a body on the wall of the apartment and in the boot of a car the couple hired 23 days after Maddy disappeared.

This prompts the interviewer to ask: "Gerry McCann buried his daughter on the beach and then disinterred her and put her in the boot 23 days later?"

Amaral replies: "We don't know. The Irish witness I have spoken about saw on television Gerry with a child in his arms arriving in the United Kingdom and declared it was the same image that he had seen in May in Portugal. This man went two days without sleeping when he realised what he had discovered."

The interviewer says that Amaral's claim implies that the Tapas Nine - the McCanns and their friends who dined together on the night of Maddy's disappearance - had all ageed to lie.

Amaral says: "All of them. Because, in case you don't know, British legislation covering negligence in caring for children is very hard...In the United Kingdom, if you leave a child alone for half an hour you will lose custody. After the death of Madeleine, if it had been made public that it was an accident, all of them would have lost custody [of their children]."

The former detective describes how on one occasion during a meeting Kate McCann had lowered her head and seemed to be totally distracted for several seconds before coming back to being her usual self. "It appeared that she had escaped from the role that she was interpreting," he says.

Asked how she reacted when she was asked if Maddy had been killed by falling from the sofa he replies: "She didn't say anything, she just lowered her head for a moment as if she was on the point of fainting. She had an emotional crack that lasted for just a moment."

Amaral adds: "For me, Gerry hid the body of Madeleine on the beach. And after some days he transfered it to his car. We were working in this direction.

"We lacked establishing the date, some details, but we were on the way. The Irishman was on the point of coming to Portugal, but it took too long, and there were external pressures. In the end he didn't make a statement to the [Judicial] Police."

A friends of the McCanns dismissed Amaral's claims as "nonsense and legally extremely dangerous", and said that Kate and Gerry would sue Amaral if he published his book in the UK.

Mr Mitchell said: "Mr Amaral needs to be very careful in repeating those allegations. Kate and Gerry's lawyers are watching his words very carefully.

"He is also completely at odds with with his own Attorney-General who, in lifting Kate and Gerry's "arguido" - official suspect - status, made it clear that there is no evidence to suggest they are guilty of any crime whatsoever."- No, no, no what was said was that there is insufficient evidences to prove conclusively that the McCanns are guilty!

  1. This morning, went to the toilet to take a crap. But this morning, knowing about the Expresso interview, I decided not to flush. Instead I stuck my head right in the toilet and took a deep, strong whiff. Smelled so much better than the McCanns. And Mitchell. And Expresso. They, yes, they REALLY make me throw up.

  2. I just don't get it, what exactly did Mr. Amamarl do that is considered disgraceful? I wish someone in the Portuguese press would write an article with a headline such as "The honorable courageous Goncalo Amaral fights for the truth."

  3. My theory on all of this. This a purely personal interpretation of all the information out there, and is based on my intuition and general logic.

The Tapas 9 are (were?) just a part of a high-class swinging community. Far from me to judge each one’s right to privacy and choice of lifestyle. However, I clearly condemn and abhor pedophilic behavior. I believe that only some few of these elements, namely David Payne, a man of strong and dominating personality and a pivotal character in this entire story, are involved in this type of aberration. I believe the majority of them are not.
The ramification of this VIP “swinging club” goes as high as the British Government itself, up to the possible involvement, direct or indirect, of Mr. Gordon Brown. I read somewhere that his wife and Kate McCann share a common friend, a colleague of the latter. Have no idea of the importance or relevance of this friendship, or even if it exists. However, only at this very high level can I explain, to myself, the enormous capability and importance of those that have intervened in the misinformation campaign and in all the decision taking processes in this entire affair. Hence the appearance of the Official Court-Clown, Mr. Clarence Mitchell, the only human being capable of surpassing in ridiculousness the Iraqi Foreign Minister during the 2nd Gulf War. Before thinking that I’m blabbering away and going totally off-limits (and you’re entitled to that, although it’s strange that I feel much less afraid to say out loud that God doesn’t exist than what I’ve just stated) please keep in mind the following: on the British side, the Profumo case, and on the Portuguese, Ballet Rose and Casa Pia. Sex and power is an Alliance that has been around for a long, long time. Much longer than the Portuguese-British one that is so much proclaimed and so very little respected.

Besides it giving some explanation to myself, it also might explain why the McCanns are unable to sue anybody. Either the hearing would be behind closed doors, which would only delay the leaking of the facts (where they would finally be debated), or it simply cannot take place.

Having said that, my theory is as follows.

On that particular afternoon, with the knowledge and consent of Gerry McCann, David Payne and Kate McCann engaged in sexual activity. They were caught red-handed, by Madeleine. Maybe it was the first time this happened. The being caught. Or not. Whatever reason, the reaction of all escalated to levels of violence that resulted in the death of the child. My supposition is that, and pardon the gory details but I deem them sufficiently important to be stated, Kate was satisfying David orally. Upon this sight, in the innocence of an almost four year-old toddler, started to say out loud some sort of a “Mommy had David’s wiener in her mouth! Mommy had David’s wiener in her mouth!”. The attempts to silence her only aggravated in conviction and volume what she kept repeating. She kept shouting out loud those words that had a seriousness and comprehension span that she wasn’t able to understand. At this stage the physical violence started. Incrementally. At some point, she started to jump on the couch, shouting with the control and conviction of a child that age throwing a tantrum. One of the two adults must have slapped her hard enough to throw her off the couch and bang her head on the wall, dying either instantly, or shortly thereafter. This scenario would explain the blood splattered on the walls as well as Kate’s bruises. David was never looked upon for blemishes. Nothing states he had any, but also nothing says he didn’t.

A child is dead. An explanation of its death that could guarantee an easy way out is easy to see that it doesn’t exist. London is immediately contacted. Whoever was listening on the other side was reminded, or didn’t need to be, that a bean-spilling process could not only seriously compromise the aspirations of a certain high influential person in an already anticipated replacement of the PM that would very soon be leaving office, but would unquestionably bring the whole government down due to the national scandal that would certainly break out. Simply unacceptable, no question about it.

Advice was asked, advice was given. Records that would later be deleted (or maybe not, being, at this point, simply dormant). Lead your life as much as normal as you can, they were told. We will think of a way to get the body out of the country, they said. The body was placed in the closet of the master bedroom, the blood in the living room cleaned, explaining why the couch was pushed against the curtains, as it was being replaced in its initial position after the cleasing. Dinner went as planned. Just with slight changes. Drugging the twins, for one, as they had witnessed a big commotion around them and were probably too excited to sleep. Kate would later question herself on her own capability to do this as she checked the twin’s breathing afterwards. Maybe with a little bit more alcohol, and this is understandable under the circumstances. The other change was the frequency of “child checking”. Everybody knew they were in deep shit which explains the unusual need to keep track of the well being of the children.

The group waited for instructions. These came when Gerry was out of the table. For some reason he was instructed to get the body out of the apartment. Maybe due to time constraints to get somebody in time to be able to get rid of the body before morn. Maybe because it would be too risky to get it out through diplomatic channels. Most probably just because some explanation would have to be given for the child to be missing the next day. The knowledge that the Portuguese justice system is dysfunctional and very permeable to pressure, thus very easy to overcome or, at least, to get around, helped to come up with the abduction theory.

But like any police novel, you cannot foresee every detail nor anticipate every reaction, and something always does go wrong. Specially if you don’t have a buttler to pin the blame to. In this case, somebody forgot to tell Kate about the change, or better yet, the evolution, of plans. As Gerry was walking towards the beach to bury the body in the beach sand (remember that those first days everybody went looking for a missing girl, not an already dead one, and how it went from the there to the freezer is totally irrelevant), Kate walks into the apartment, goes to look for the body where she left it, and finds it missing. All came together at once in her head. The guilt. The pressure to keep silent. The mother within her, she overreacts. Explodes. Uncontrollably.
“They’ve taken her! They’ve taken her!”, “they” she knew who they were. And “they” had taken Maddie away without telling her. “We’ve let her down!”, a mother’s wail for not having said the final goodbyes to her unfortunate daughter.
This hysterical reaction precipitates things. Blundering, as we all now know, of the covering up of the evidence and the construction of the cover-up. Irrecoverable mistakes. The rest is history. Some call it facts.

FACT is that the way the facts have been denied, bent and stupidly misinterpreted, allowed somebody, namely myself, to come up with such a grotesque theory. If truth had been told from day one, I would have better things to occupy my mind.

To all those that have been fooled by these people by giving your money to them, its time for the McCanns to forego a little auditing, don’t you think?

  4. Cara Textusa, I am absolutely in shock, it could have happened exactly as you say.

While I was reading your theory my heart was screaming NO, it's just to horrible, how could they?

However under the light of the parents and Tapas group strange behaviours my brain was having a YES moment, it fits: those early thoughts of creating a non-charitable fund, calling the media, searching for the Amber alert site on the same night of Madeline's disappearance, the various statements of witness saying the McCanns and the British Government representatives pushed the kidnap theory until there was no more time or space for the investigation to follow other leads; on the other side the paedophile allegations, the Ocean club employees and other witness statements, and many more odd facts as per PJ report, etc. - I have to say that I agree that your theory can have some truth in it, or, who knows, it can be the truth.

The only sad thing is that we will never know if this is the real why, the real how, and the names of all the players involved in Madeleine's tragic faith...

And if we try to do further than theorizing, the McCann team will go from the menace to the act: Malinka's car destroyed in a fire, Amaral's family dog killed at night time, witnesses harassed, scapegoats created...

You're theory explains several points, it might be a reasonable explanation for what happened.

Thank you for posting it here.

PS: quando puderes fala-me por e-mail, gostava de te perguntar uma coisa, s.f.f.

    um abraço e obrigada

  5. They haven't the b .... s !

Mitchell's back in the realms of spin, reverse spin and backward somersaults.

His hair loss is unsurprising !

  6. What an unprincipled immoral b.....d Mitchell is ... an absolute pack of lies. His only means of defence of this god forsaken couple is lies and legal threats to the Investigating Officer, rtd.

I have Mr Amaral's book along with everyone else in the campaign for truth. The McCanns requested PJ's permission for Mr Krugel to apply his unique tracking equipment along the beach. He traced an area 300 meters long - along which Madeleine was, plausibly, carried.

Gerry undoubtedly panicked after the Smith family spoke to him heading to the beach on 3 May.

Mitchell's in a double reverse spin. Evidence was found at Gerry's specific request, results were given to PJ who searched but found no body.

Mitchell is now falsely accusing Mr Amaral of comments he neither made nor contained in his authorized testimony.

MR AMARAL WORKS ON THE BASIS OF EVIDENCED FACTS AND DRAWS CONCLUSIONS FROM EVIDENCED FACTS.
AS WITH ALL PROFESSIONALS, HE LEAVES JUDGMENT TO HIS SUPERIORS, THE COURTS.

Mitchell, do yourself and cash strapped taxpayers a favour. Sue Amaral - the case could and should have been heard in a Portuguese Court a year ago - get on and do it or SHUT UP. You can let the McCanns prove their innocence once and for all, so what's stopping you ?

The public aren't reliant on the media or forums - lost all credibility. Hence the rapid rise in book sales published and distributed well out of the Government's spy network.

You, Mitchell, declared the media war on the police and you as well as the McCanns are responsible for the consequences. What goes round comes around. People DO have the right to privacy, free speech and opinion, especially those paying ministers wages.

  7. This may be no more than the usual McCann muscle flexing at everyone who do not go along with their 'abduction' story. But I am sure Dr Amaral would welcome being sued. The McCanns will have some serious explaining to do if the case goes to court and they will have more to lose than to gain. It might be a good way of ending the McCann charade, find justice for poor Maddie and put her parents where they belong.

  8. To the comment posted 07/09/08, 00:38, starting "My theory on all of this"

Congratulations, you may well be spot on. Madeleine caught her mother in a compromising sexual situation with David Payne, the Tapas friend who organised the trip, makes sexual gestures and says there is a pact in the Tapas group. In her innocence Madeleine was saying embarrassing things about the incident and had to be silenced. Violence started, a slap too hard, the child ends up dead. Then the cover up with British high ranking support and guidance, why, because some important people have a lot to hide.
